Rationale for the strategic priorities of the interaction of the labor market and the educational services market, aimed at eliminating the imbalance in the labor market of the Donetsk People's Republic. Methods. The study was conducted on the basis of a complex of general scientific methods in line with the process-market approach, the use of strategic mapping and sociological analysis. Results. The main strategic priorities of interaction between the subjects of the labor market and the educational services market in order to increase the competitiveness of graduates of the vocational education system in the modern labor market are identified. The sequence of implementation of these priorities is determined on the basis of using the periodization of the professional development of a person as a subject of labor. It was proposed to supplement the existing periodization with the stage “A fundamental change in the trajectory of professional development due to the change of profession”. The role of non-formal education in ensuring human development as a subject of labor is shown, attention is focused on the need to take into account generational characteristics in working with young people, creating conditions for their positively oriented subject genesis. Scientific novelty. It consists in using the potential of the process-market approach for building the interaction between the subjects of the labor market and the educational services market.
