BUILDING A STRUCTURAL-DISCURSIVE ALGORITHM OF THE PROCESS TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC STABILITY OF MEAT PROCESSING ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Object. Ensuring the economic sustainability of meat processing enterprises, in the constantly changing external and internal environment is the basis for their sustainable functioning and independence from market changes, profitability maximizing, obligations fulfillment, preserving and enhancing of investment attractiveness. The problems of economic sustainability management are often caused by unreasonable, non-alternative, lacking logical consistency and clear focus management decisions and actions that provide for a short-term stability of enterprise functioning only, but not for major modification towards stabilization. An important challenge is to identify additional opportunities for making effective, timely decisions in the field of management which will identify the appropriate preventive measures in the current trend towards negative changes in enterprises activity. Purpose. To develop of a step-by-step algorithm of the process to provide and manage the economic stability of meat processing enterprises. Methodology and methods. The research works by Russian scientists studying problems of economic sustainability at the AIC enterprises make up the theoretical and methodological basis of the given research. The methods of structural-logical analysis and algorithmic modeling have been used in the framework of solving the problem of economic stability management. Results. The problem of managing the economic stability of meat processing enterprises is defined as the absence of an effective mechanism of providing efficient and dynamic long-term development trends of an enterprise as a unified system, based on adequate, methodologically sound management decisions. Main positions for designing an algorithm of providing and managing the level of economic stability process have been proposed to address the problem. The algorithm is defined as a multi-stage process for the development and implementation of a set of subsequent actions to ensure the internal balance stability in the enterprise structure, to reduce the threat of risk situations, to increase the ability to accommodate and counterbalance consequences of negative influence of external and internal factors on the level of economic sustainability. Scope. The results obtained are useful for the management of meat processing enterprises of the Lugansk region. Conclusions and practical significance. The applied importance of the proposed structural-discursive algorithm is identified in terms of sectoral features of meat-processing enterprises and their role in economic sustainability level development, which enables to reveal the existing problems and to provide appropriate measures to address them and stabilize the development dynamics. Scientific novelty. The article studies ways to stabilize, to improve the level and to manage the economic stability of meat processing enterprises. The need to develop a multistage process to work out and take a set of consequent measures, considering the business activity sector, with the aim of ensuring stability and managing economic sustainability has been defined as an algorithm.
