Purpose. To analyse some provisions of the theory of autopoiesis, developed by the German sociologist Niklas Luhmann, in projection to the organizational changes of modern business companies. Methods. In the process of research, we used such methods as the system approach, the method of analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, the structural method, and the method of formal logic. Internal relations are highlighted and diagnosed in the context of environmental influences. It considers various, including non-formalized, practices that have developed within a business organization. With the help of the concept of autopoiesis, many organizational changes taking place in business organizations, regardless of the will and consciousness of management, are explained. These changes are viewed through the prism of communications and distribution of power. There are also touched upon other plots of the emergence and development of organizational relations within the labor collectives of modern organizations as the communication of relations of power and language (in the sociolinguistic aspect). Speaking about the dependence of autopoiesis and efficiency, style, methods of management influence in companies (top management), the authors came to the conclusion that we are dealing with the issue of self-reference self-management development of the system of informal relations in the company. Scientific novelty. The authors investigated some provisions of Luhmann’s autopoiesis theory and proved that it can be used to study consciousness, society, and the phenomenon of life in general, and in cases of specific situations to consider informal practices in the workforce of modern business companies. function show_eabstract() { $('#eabstract1').hide(); $('#eabstract2').show(); $('#eabstract_expand').hide(); } ▼Показать полностью
