Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the conditions for the implementation of the project management standard in the municipal sphere of culture Methods. The conditions for implementing the technology of project management are analyzed, general principles of the comparative method are used. Results and scientific novelty. The conditions for the introduction of technology of project management into the sphere of culture of a particular municipal territory are revealed, the conclusion is made regarding the contradictions between the requirements of the modern educational standard and the competence of the teaching staff, the basic minimum requirements for the graduates of a municipal university are formulated in the implementation of a practice-oriented model of education.
