Purpose. The study is a research of the influence of the Internet on political culture on the example of the information policy of the official websites of authorities and clarification of some aspects of the Internet use in politics. Methods. In the process of the articles writing the author used such methods of scientific knowledge as structural-functional, historical and institutional. Results. The results of the study could be used in implementation of the information policy of the State power bodies and local self-government, as well as political parties. The conclusion about the necessity to use modern information technologies, including the Internet in political subjects is made. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty and originality consists in the analysis of the problems of the relationship of Internet resources and political culture, as well as the proposed evaluation criteria of official Web portals of the authorities.
