Purpose. This article is devoted to research to modern approaches to the definition of "production and technological capacity of the defense industry complex of the Russian Federation" Methods. In this research the author used a systematic, general, logical, formal methods and method of comparative analysis for learn contemporary approaches of the definition of the studied concepts. Purpose. This article is devoted to systematization and study of innovative projects assessment methods. Methods. The systematic method based on the analysis of the initial information was used in the research. The tasks considered in the article are of practical nature. Scientific novelty. Main methods of innovative projects assessment have been classified. Results. The results of systematization of the main methods to assess innovative projects are presented. The article considers the innovative projects assessment methods, fixed in the RF normative legal acts, which take into account the diversity of investments and received funds (costs and incomes) and allow to minimize errors in determining the final economic effect from the innovative project implementation.
