The study aims at analyzing the experience with the youth community in Germany. The author studied the methods and forms of work to integrate youth in city management and its development. Methods. The study used techniques of analysis of sociological research materials, theoretical analysis of empirical information for implementation of an integrated analysis of the work with the youth, aimed at the development of the city and urban community in Germany. The results. As a result of the study the author identified the factors influencing the development of the youth activity of Germany, the mechanisms of activating and youth inclusion in city management. Methods and forms of work with youth were identified as well. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty of the study is a comparative analysis of the experience of the youth inclusion in the city management in Germany, youth is seen as a resource of urban space development.
