Purpose. The aim of this paper is to examine the procedures and regulatory frameworks of non-profit organizations development. Methods. The main research methods are analysis, synthesis, induction, comparative-legal analysis. Results. The author of the article discussed the development of non-profit organizations: the purpose of development, organizational-legal form of legal entity, a general and a special order of creation; introduced the lists of normative legal acts, regulating the establishment of non-profit organizations in the Russian Federation.
