Purpose. Analysis of the effectiveness of management bodies regional power system of supplementary education for children and adolescents in Sverdlovsk region. Methods. On the basis of annual reports the authors analyzed annual reports of the Ministry of General and vocational education for 2012-2014. Results. The authors found out lack of modern criteria of social, economic and organizational effectiveness and instruments for regulation of development management instruments of general educational establishments providing supplementary education; results-based management system, including the motivation of managers responsible for this growth. Scientific novelty. For the first time the authors assessed the actual state of supplementary secondary education in the region.
