Purpose. The article reveals the main content of the goals and objectives of management in the RF Prosecutor's Office authorities. Methods. The existing legislation and the rule of law in historical perspective, views of the leading scientists in the field of public administration are analyzed. Results. The need for adoption at the level of the RF President of the comprehensive program of reforming the Prosecutor’s Office for the long term is justified.
