Subject of research: educational project in a higher education establishment. Purpose of research: application of a project approach for an educational service management, determination of typical features of educational projects. Methods. The research is based on systematic analysis methods. The authors used project management methodology applied to an educational project in a higher education establishment. Results. The authors developed basic theoretical-methodological statement on education projects management: they introduced definitions and peculiarities of a life cycle, projects classification in higher education establishments, main types of customers and kinds of the resources they use. Scientific novelty. The authors developed theoretical basics for education projects management in higher education establishments.
