Purpose. To determine the importance and influence of the position of the constitutional Court and the constitutional (statutory) courts of the subjects of the Russian Federation on the legislative process. Methods. A retrospective analysis of the essence of terms and definitions that are defined the basic legal position. Results. On the basis of scientifically based approaches, as well as its own findings, we investigate the question of the influence of legal positions of the constitutional Court of the Russian Federation statutory and constitutional courts of the subjects on legislative initiatives legislative process Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty consists in the study of the relationship between the legal positions of the constitutional courts of justice and the activities of the subjects of legislative initiative related to the submission of draft laws to the legislative bodies.
