Goal. Article is devoted to public policy, which is seen as the most important attribute and a sign of a democratic society. Methods. On the basis of systematic approach produced a political policy analysis, based on the synthesis, and statistical analysis. Scientific innovation and results. It is shown that in Ukrainian society, on the one hand, democracy is supported as the most acceptable form of political control, on the other, there are uncertainties and inconsistent views on democratic processes. As an important mechanism for the formation of public policy deals with cooperation of governmental and non-governmental organizations.
