DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT: RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE

Abstract

Purpose. The rapid development of the information economy is currently associated with the introduction of end-to-end digital technologies and the formation of a correspondingly digital economy. Modernization of traditional manufacturing industries and service industries, organization of trade and procurement procedures, related financial and logistical operations, changing consumption patterns against the background of the penetration of information technologies and the digitization of economic processes creates the basis for the formation of new markets and new conditions for the functioning of the market, as well as new approaches to analytics, forecasting and decision-making. Therefore, the goal of the study is to study Russian and foreign experience in the conditions of rapid development of the digital economy. Methods. The study was carried out using common methods used in economics, based on a logical description of the components and functions of digital technologies that reflect their essential properties using a systematic approach that provide the necessary depth of the scientific problem. Results. It is revealed that the digital economy is becoming an increasingly important driver of global economic growth and plays a significant role in accelerating economic development, increasing the productivity of existing industries, creating new markets and industries, and providing comprehensive sustainable growth and development. Foreign experience in the development of digital technology is proving Scientific novelty.
