Abstract

Purpose. Analysis of the impact of different types of investment resources for the innovative development of territories. Methods. The work involved correlation and regression analysis, structural and logical methods of investigation. Results. Author explored the impact of investments on innovative processes in the country, the Federal District and specific regions, produced ranking territories of the Russian Federation on the innovative susceptibility to investments in fixed assets. For example, author offered a method for determining the functional dependence to assess the effectiveness of the placement of funds allocated by enterprises with foreign capital participation for the particular region. Author identified the Federal subjects that do not effectively initiate the process of organization of high-tech industries. Substantiated conditions for attracting domestic and foreign investments in the regional innovative projects. Scientific novelty. Developed innovative approaches to the calculation of return on investment in fixed assets to enable the updated based on the effective approach to the management of the reproduction process in the territories. Practical significance. The proposed evaluation mechanisms can serve as an effective management tool for federal and regional authorities in the development, implementation and monitoring of innovation and investment programs in terms of the country's modernization course.
