Abstract
Purpose. Disclosure of the content of an economic thinking concept of a manager in terms of its principles and tools. Tasks. It is necessary to define the notion of economic thinking in general, economic thinking of a manager in particular and further understanding of science and economic substance of a manager, to determine the principles and tools of manager’s economic thinking. The author used methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, abstracting, generalizing and specifying, methods of inductive and deductive reasoning, building causal relationships on this basis, as well as the method of movement from the abstract to the concrete. Results. Principles of economic thinking of a manager as a management system for allocation of limited resources to meet unlimited needs, based on the organization of the system of an economic subject and proceeding from the logic of disobjectivation and objectification are: the principle of determinism, the matching principle, the principle of subsidiarity. Means of economic thinking of a manager are: verbal-logical, mathematical, information and assets. Scientific novelty. The author defined the notion of economic thinking of a manager, detailed the content of verbal-logical, mathematical, information and assets, as well as the relevant principles reflecting conditionality of individual economic thinking of a group and public economic thinking; continuity in the qualities of understanding the needs of a subject for meeting the needs and the whole system responding to the needs; the need for inclusion into the process of disobjectivation and objectification of many elements, including incompatible elements, and on that basis to build a logic of an activity system to meet varying needs or a group of needs.
