Abstract

Purpose. To study information support to the stability of the political system, political regime and society. Methods. A set of measures and actions of the state and society towards the stability of the political system, political regime and society is analyzed. Results. On the grounds of evidence-based approaches and expertise, as well as their own conclusions, it is concluded that in order to maintain political stability information mechanisms should be developed and used; as a result the government and society will have a chance to move to a new level of interaction where citizens will be able to participate directly in drawing up the political agenda, to discuss projects, programs and laws proposed by the authorities and also offer their own. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty lies in differentiation of mechanisms of information support to the political stability of the political system and the political regime, in identification of a set of measures and actions of state and society, aimed at providing information support to political stability.
