Abstract

Purpose. Identification and evaluation of factors concerning competitiveness of the Russian regions. Methods. In the research, the author used the methods of typology and grouping, and comparative, cartographic research methods. To make calculations the author used methods of economic-statistical analysis. Results and practical importance. The author substantiated the factors influencing the improvement of regions competitiveness; determined the territories, which have positive dynamics of an integral competitiveness index, and key forces for improvement of regions competitiveness. Scientific novelty. The author characterized key groups of factors of regions competitiveness; proposed an instrument of additional assessment of conditions for labor activity in regions.
