METHODS OF RISK MANAGEMENT IN SERVICING COMPANIES

Abstract

Purpose: to form methods of risk management that will be used in power saving projects implemented by energyservicing companies. Methods: the article is written because of adaptation of general methods of risk management in respect to the activity of energy servicing companies in light of specifi city and peculiarities of activity of ESKO and power saving projects. Results: In the article the authors consider a problem concerning absence of risk management methods used by energy-servicing companies. As a solution of the given problem, the authors made an effort to form an optimal set of risk management methods for ESKO and projects of power saving taking into account their specifi city. As a basis for that, the authors used the existing results in the sphere of risk-management in various spheres. Scientifi c novelty. The authors propose four groups of risk management methods ESKO: risk aversion methods, risk decreasing methods, risk dissipation methods and risk compensation methods. Based on the existing writings in the sphere of energy servicing companies risks, the authors proposes the most useful methods of reaction to energy servicing companies risks.
