INFLUENCE OF THE RUSSIAN TRADE UNIONS ON SOCIAL-LABOR SPHERE: ANALYSIS OF MASS MEDIA

Abstract

Subject of research. The article devoted to the activity of trade unions in the period 2004 2013. The way the activity of that social structure in the social-economic system of the country is characterized. Purpose of research. To study publications connected with description of social-labor conditions and participation of trade unions in them. To identify common factors of popularity of various articles about trade unions and main social-economic events in the country for the above mentioned period. Methodology of research. Selection of articles according to relativity factors and realization of content analyzing of a large amount of publications to identify the main topics connected with description of trade unions’ activity. Development of the dependence diagram. Results of research. The author conducted a content analysis of a large amount of publications on the subject of social-labor processes and participation of trade unions; identified six different groups on the subject of trade unions functioning. The author makes conclusions on possible connections of popularity dynamics of certain topical articles with the main social-economic events in our country. Sphere of application and scientific novelty. Possible utilization of the research for efficiency assessment of certain aspects of modern social economic system development. The author analyses of influence of the Russian trade unions on social-labor sphere for the last ten years. Conclusions on positive and negative moments will help to develop policy on regulation of statutory framework and cooperation of participants of social-economic processes on various levels.
