The purpose of this article is justification of a possibility of application of an express technique of assessment of image as the tool for the continuous analysis of the complete concrete political text. Methods. When carrying out a research the image assessment express technique (IAET) finding the application in activity approach to the analysis of political texts is used. Scientific novelty. Many interpretations of image don't go further abstract definitions, without giving the chance of an operationalization of characteristics. The prospect of realization of such opportunities is offered by activity approach to the analysis of political image.
