The article discusses the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship, choice of trajectories of human life strategies in the context of social inequalities; examines the conditions of implementation of State social policy, forms of the State support of social sphere. Methodology and methods. The author has been guided by the principles of socio-cultural and systemic approaches to the study of objective social processes and their subjective reflection as theoretic-methodological fundamentals of analysis served as a social concept of civilization development, public relations, and social information. Results. The author made a conclusion about movement of modern society to the system of social entrepreneurship as a specific strategy to address complex social problems in the areas of education, health, social support; about the importance of social entrepreneurship as a component of the responsibility of business and society consolidating positions to face the challenges in the provision of public and municipal services, improving their quality and efficiency. The article states that support to social entrepreneurs, a mass demonstration of the best business practices of social entrepreneurship, forming a positive image of a social entrepreneur, will contribute to the growth of social responsibility, election of strategies to ensure the efficiency of public services in the social sphere. The need for further development of directions of infrastructure support of social entrepreneurship by the State was determined.
