Purpose. Researching and analyzing the existing criteria for assessing the innovative activity of business organizations. Methods. The criteria applied by domestic researchers for assessing the level of innovation activity of enterprises are analyzed. In the course of the project the scientific methods of learning have been used including analysis and synthesis of the research objects, generalization, systematization and grouping, comparison, formal logic and others. Results. On the background of the conducted analysis the author’s criteria for assessing the innovative activity of business organization have been proposed. The given criteria cover all the components of the innovative activity of a business entity, which allows to make the assessment comprehensive and the results significant. Scientific novelty. A set of criteria to allow for achieving the goal of the assessment of innovative activity of a business entity has been developed.
