Purpose. To analyze the impact of modernization of the workshop crane equipment on the productivity increase and costs reduction at machine-building enterprises. Methodology and methods. On the basis of the normative-regulatory framework, SNW-analysis and sociological research the authors summarize the experience of the engineering enterprise in the crane equipment modernization. Results and scientific novelty. In the paper the crane equipment modernization project is developed, which brings to living labor costs reduction to perform work; to the reduced equipment operation costs; the structural decomposition of the project implementation works is proposed; risks are analyzed; threats and risks are identified through the calculation documentation audit review, assumptions analysis.
