Purpose. Study of availability of reliable, quality information for youth required for its full formation and development through official websites of MSU bodies. Methods. The study is based on the methods of design analysis, content and interactivity of official websites sections related to the youth policy of Ekaterinburg administration and bodies of local self-government. For analysis, the authors developed a comprehensive system of evaluation criteria for websites. Results and practical value. The authors identified the problems that indicate a lack of attention OGV and MSU to information support for the implementation of the State youth policy. Serious shortcomings in information support of the websites of OGV and MSU were found out. The authors developed and proposed topics of official websites of the city administration of Ekaterinburg and MSU with possible information blocks. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty is in the binding decoration and filling the content of informational official websites of the city administration and MSU bodies in the part concerning the youth policy to the Concept of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and the Fundamentals of the State youth policy in the Russian Federation up to 2025.

Purpose. Research is aimed at studying the role of information in the process of reforming the education system as a whole, as well as identifying modern forms of learning in higher education and applying new tools and techniques using endless information resources. Methods. On the basis of a systematic approach the authors analyze new forms, methods and means of learning, and the role and status of a teacher taking into account peculiarities of the "educational epoch" and changes in educational environment on a global scale. Results. The study identified new vectors of science development, defined modern tools for self-development as well as teachers and students; introduced the most important directions of education development. The results of the study gave an opportunity to identify trends, to create a competitive educational space of educational institutions due to the increment of education to the high-tech sphere. Scientific novelty. Educational space is treated as an element of global information systems, where the leading trends are "information clouds" with free access to knowledge, collective consciousness in network structures. A particularly important element of education today is a convergence of knowledge on the basis of "multidisciplinary" and "extradisciplinary" trends of science development. It is concluded that the inevitable computerization of educational space is realized by rethinking the understanding of the aims of education as receiving complex synthesized knowledge.

Purpose. The research is aimed at studying the labor market of young professionals, the employers’ requirements for this group, identifying priority criteria of the perspective specialists from the employers’ position and analyzing business readiness to participate in the implementation of the education system regulation mechanisms. Methods. In the course of the study practical application methods: survey and analysis of documents were used. The data of the surveys of the heads of organizations and structural subdivisions were the quantitative basis of the research. Results. The study revealed common cultural, personal and professional competences of young professionals, highlighted the most important and of top priority ones from the point of view of employers, revealed the interest of the heads of organizations and structural subdivisions to interact in partnership with universities. Scientific novelty. Key competencies and qualities of young professionals in demand in the labor market are identified and analyzed; the activity of businesses to participate in joint programs with universities on the problems of higher education system regulation is researched.
