Purpose. In the article, the authors considered the research results on fractional zone division of the North of the Sakha Yakutiya Republic. The purpose of the research is a practical proposal of fractional zone division of the North of the Sakha Yakutiya Republic for improvement of a long-term territorial and social-economic planning of micro-districts and their administration. Methods. As new methods the authors used a systematic analysis with due regard to principles of factoring analysis, expert assessment, strategic planning. Scientific novelty. The authors analyzed the influence of basic programs of social-economic development on development of a space structure of the region. Results. The authors offered a new scheme of fractional zone division of the North of the Sakha Yakutiya Republic for purposes of strategic planning and management.
