Purpose. The paper is devoted to one of the most burning issues of our time – prevention of ethnic confl icts by way of regulating human rights and rights of nations in legislation. Results and scientifi c novelty. The article deals with problems of implementation of measures to prevent inter-ethnic confl icts and implementation of international-legal standards into national legislation and ensuring their effective operation.
