Novations and rotinness: a value relation in the consciousness and behavior of Russian pensioners

Abstract

Purpose: to find a niche, a lagoon in the space of which the social group of elderly Russians could realize their activity and contribute to the positive development of the interaction of generations. Methods. In the course of the study, the results of which formed the basis of the presented article, the following methods were used: 1) analysis of theoretical sources devoted to the topic under study; 2) theoretical methods of synthesis, comparison and generalization of research on the topic; 3) method of expert interview. Results and practical significance. The analysis of the value ratio of routine social practices and innovations in the society is carried out. The balance of innovations and routine in the life of modern society is possible with the continuity of generations against the background of ongoing processes of liberalization of old age. It is revealed that in modern conditions the model of the culture of society becomes relevant, in which the information flow passes not only from parents to children, but also the youth interpretation of the current situation determines the influence on the older generation. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the relationship between the social processes of routineization and innovation in their interconnection with generational social groups.
